Real Estate Schools

Arizona real estate schools present two basic categories: those which qualify students to meet the licensing requirements set forth by theArizona Department of Real Estate, and other real estate related courses. The requirements for an Arizona real estate license are:

Real Estate Salesperson: 18 years of age, 90 hour course of instruction and passing school exam, 4 hour state exam, payment of necessary fees, fingerprinting and background check.

Real Estate Broker: 18 years of age, 36 months active, licensed, experience within the past five years, 90 hour course of instruction and passing school exam, 4 hour state exam, payment of necessary fees, fingerprinting and background check.

Professional Continuing Ed: Consists of 24 hours of classes in real estate related, professional subjects, completed every 2 years.

Before a real estate school can issue credit to meet the Department of Real Estate requirements, the school must receive a Certificate of Approval issued by the Department. Prospective students may obtain information on approved schools by contacting:
