Library Hours:
 
Monday   6:45 - 3:15
Tuesday  6:45 - 3:15
Wednesday  6:45 - 1:30
Thursday  6:45 - 3:15
Friday  6:45 - 2:30
 
No passes are required before and after school or during lunch. During class time you must sign in at the front desk with a pass signed and dated from your teacher. Early release students are welcome and must sign in at the front desk.
 
Library Rules:
 
Please leave food and drink at the counter.
Please have your phone conversations outside. 
Please work with only four students per table - if you move chairs, be kind and move them back.
Please be respectful of others and school property.
Please use quiet voices.
Please clean up your area. 
Checking out materials:
A current school ID card is required to check out materials.  Students may check out up to 3 books at a time.  The check out period is two weeks, with the option to renew. Overdue materials are assessed a fine of $.10 per day.
 
Overdue, Damaged and Lost  Materials:
A student will not be allowed to check out anything else until overdue materials are returned and the fine is paid. If materials are lost or damaged, a student will be required to pay replacement cost of the items.
 
Books:
The MHS Library has a collection of approximately 24,000 books. This includes a special collection of Children's Literature.  Book requests are always welcome. 
 
 
Textbooks:
Textbooks may be checked out with a school ID for use in the library. 
 
 
Printing, Copying and Scanning:
All black and white printing  $.10/page. Color printing  $.50/page. Copying $.10/page.  Scanning documents Free.
 
Computers:
 
Our library has 40 computers available for class reservation and individual student use. These computers may be used for academic purposes only. This includes course work, research, and checking Infinite Campus. Personal email, games and browsing the internet are not allowed. Individual students using the computers must have a current school ID card.  The Gilbert Public Schools Electronic Information Student Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) must be followed.
 
Lost Items:
The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All items left will be submitted to the lost and found at the bookstore. Student ID's left in the library will be taken to the bookstore on Friday afternoon.
