Good Morning Wildcats!

SWEEP will begin beginning Monday, January 14. Students, please be sure to make it to your first-hour class on time!!

GLOCO is on Friday!!

  • Starts whenever the Basketball Game ends (around 8:30) and will end at 10:30 pm.

  • Attire: Whiteout (informal)

  • On Friday, tickets will be sold at a table inside the game for $5.(you still have to pay to get into the game). Or will be sold for $10 in front of the spirit store during both lunches.


Next Spanish Honor Society Meeting is this Monday, January 14th, 2019, at 2:30pm in Señora Luna's room, G230. All members please attend!

If you have NOT yet passed the CIVICS test, Version B has been released.  Please come to the library ASAP to schedule your test. You MUST pass this test in order to graduate.  Thank You!

Please join the MHSHW program for the Breaking Points movie showing on Thursday, January 31st from 5:30-8:00 pm at Gilbert Elementary School. This event is open to the entire community. For flyer and more information please reach out to Anna Luna at

Seniors! Stop by the Bookstore and check on your fees ~ All fees must to be paid before graduation, so get that checked off your Grad list!!

NEW HOURS: New Mindfulness Center Hours: 4th hour-11:00-11:30 and 5th hour 12:00-12:30. There will be no late entry so plan accordingly.

Beginning December 11th mindfulness will now be offered to any teen in the valley on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-3:30 and 3:30-4:00 pm. For more information please contact Prevention Coach, Mrs. Luna at


Please join a club this year! It looks good on a resume and you may have a fun time!

Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors may now apply for membership in the National Honor Society. If you are interested, pick up application materials on the desk outside of Mr. Massey's room, G-229. You must have at least a 3.8 GPA to apply. The absolute deadline for application submission is 3:00 PM on January 31st.

The Coffee Truck will be on campus Wednesday morning beginning at 6:30.  The proceeds from this week will benefit Equality Club!  Remember, you must be in line by 7:15 with a ticket from Ms. K in order to not be counted late to your first-hour class.  Thank you for your support of the truck! This is an easy fundraiser for your clubs!

Do you want to take the ACT Test in February? You must sign up by this Friday, Jan 11 to take that test. Come get a flyer in the College & Career Ctr for all the ACT and SAT test dates.


Students if you took the ASVAB, you can pick up your scoresheet in the College & Career Ctr.


Are you interested in the Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program at ASU this summer? This is a 6 or 8 week summer program.See Ms Lyman in the College & Career Ctr for more info.


Interested in going to College for free? The NROTC program will pay you while you go to college. Come learn how this program works on Jan 23 during 6th hour.

Girls Tennis - A meeting for any and all girls interested in Girls Tennis,  beginning of both lunches on Tuesday January 15th in room A129?  

The Lady Wildcats came home with the sweep last night. JV girls basketball wins 66-23 and were led in scoring by Solis and Besirevic with 14 a piece and Holler and Morton with 12 points each. Varsity girls basketball wins 81-35 and we’re led in scoring by Smith with 29, Herberger with 16, Champion with 14, and Fitzgerald with 10. There was No freshman game. Come support the Wildcats on Friday as they take on #3 Seton @ Seton.
