About Me  ¿Quién soy yo?

I am very excited to start another year as a Wildcat!

Originally, I am from Wisconsin.  I moved to Phoenix, AZ when I was 15, just as I started my sophomore year of high school.  One year later I moved to Mesa, AZ and I graduated from Red Mountain High School in 2001.

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish in 2005. I returned to ASU and received my Master of Education in Secondary Education degree in 2013.

I have two children who both attend Gilbert Elementary School and are enrolled in their dual language program-learning Spanish along with the other subjects.

I have travelled to several parts of Mexico and I have familia that live in Mexico City.  I dream of travelling to other Spanish-speaking countries and other places around the world.

I look forward to starting a new school year and I can't wait to meet my students (and to see some returning friendly faces!)

¡Saludos!
