Welcome!

Advanced Placement World History is a rigorous, year-long college level course that examines history from 8000 BCE to the present day. It develops a greater understanding of the evolution of global processes and contacts including interactions over time. The course is global in scope, with Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe being represented. Students will prepare to be successful in their higher-level college and university courses by developing analytical and critical thinking skills. This course centers around five themes that will develop the students historical skills as it covers the six periods in history.

About Me

Hello! I am originally from Ohio and relocated to Arizona (for the second time) this past summer! I am a graduate of Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. This is currently my 8th year in the classroom. I am married, have two daughters, and enjoy baseball (Go D’backs!) and musicals.
